Scripture: 1 John 4:7-8 (ESV) "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God because God is love."
Insight: Love comes from God, the ultimate source. His love is pure, selfless, and consistent. It is sacrificial, prioritizes others, and expects nothing in return. God's love is constant, unaltered by circumstances or our actions. This divine love should be our model. Understanding and internalizing His love is crucial in learning how to love others with kindness, compassion, and respect.
Self-reflection: What is my understanding of God's love? How deeply do I comprehend His pure, sacrificial, and constant love? More importantly, how does this understanding influence how I love others? Am I able to reflect His divine love in my daily interactions with those around me?
